For those who are fond of notes, the awareness that possessing only an iPad and an Apple Pencil is not enough is a reality. The app used to take notes can greatly influence the quality of notes.
With hundreds of apps available, it is crucial to select carefully since not all are equal.
Today, 13 of the best clipboard apps available on the App Store will be carefully examined.
No.

With thousands of positive reviews, Notability has certainly shown its value to clipboard enthusiasts over the years.
This app is particularly famous for its audio synchronization function, which allows you to record audio and sync it with handwritten notes during writing. However, other apps like Goodnotes have adopted this feature.
To stand out, Notability also boasts some unique features. The multi-note support offers users the possibility to open two notes and display them in the app for comparison or multitasking. The new Pen tool provides the app with greater versatility, allowing users to draw and sketch.
By combining multitasking tools and technologies such as handwriting recognition and mathematical conversion, Notability makes it easier to take notes during lessons, meetings, conferences and every intermediate situation.
At the end of 2021, Notability switched from a unique purchase application to a free plan with a premium subscription option called Notability Plus. If you’re looking for an incredible app that doesn’t require an initial investment, Notability is a great option to consider.

More interesting features:
- Multi-note support allows you to easily compare and work on multiple documents at the same time.
- Favorite presets simplify creating and saving your favorite instrument colors for quick and easy reuse.
- Mathematical conversion (only premium) allows you to convert handwritten calculations into common mathematical expressions.
- The Pen tool allows the design and sketch, with pressure sensitivity and nuance activated by the inclination.
Main limitations:
- No synchronization or backup on iCloud in the free plan, causing a risk for notes enthusiasts who do not upgrade.
- Limited changes to the notes in the free plan (monthly reset), which could prevent those who take notes intensively to continue without updating.
- Limited organization options force users to a note retention style that might seem restrictive or insufficient.
Important details:
- Prices: Free plan available; $14.99 per year for the premium plan.
- Reviews: Notability currently has a score of 4.7 out of 5 stars on the App Store with over 26,000 reviews.
- Platform: Available for iPad, iPhone and Mac.

Goodnotes 6

Goodnotes 6 is a power for notes lovers everywhere. The app includes everything you need to take notes, write music, highlight PDF and much more.
One of the most significant differences between Goodnotes and other competitors is the wealth of organizational tools. By default, Goodnotes allows you to create notebooks and store everything within them. This is a fundamental difference from tools such as Notability or Apple Notes, where the ability to organize is somehow limited by software.
Goodnotes' notebooks are highly customizable. You can import calendars, create additional storage folders and navigate between favorites using the sidebar.
Of course, Goodnotes does not stop here. The app offers a powerful search function, integrated handwriting recognition, tools powered by artificial intelligence and much more. You can use these features to annotate and highlight your imported documents. The app also syncs with iCloud and third-party storage so you can always have your notes with you.
So, what are the disadvantages?
Although there are few against Goodnotes, the absence of a preferred toolbar is a common feature that is missing here.

More interesting features:
- The notebook creation tools offer an unprecedented level of customization for notebooks and notes.
- Infinite and nested storage allows users to store folders within folders and create an organizational structure that meets their needs.
- The Favorites section allows you to locate any note, document or page in seconds from a single location.
Main limitations:
- Text conversion is embossed and difficult to manage. It works well, but converting handwritten text to typed text is a boring process.
- The absence of a favorite toolbar means you will have to reformat your tools whenever you select them or change them. Although the app saves some settings, such as the width and color of the pen, the tool recovery still seems more engaging than it should be.
Important details:
- Prices: Limited free plan available; annual subscription of $9.99 or unique purchase of $29.99 on the App Store for full version.
- Reviews: Currently, the Goodnotes 6 app has a score of 4.8 stars derived from a total of over 84,000 reviews.
- Platform: Available for iPad, iPhone and Mac. Beta version for Windows and Android.

Apple Notes

Believe it or not, Apple Notes has been present since the first days of digital notes. The app was launched with the first version of iOS in 2007. Originally, it was a mobile version of the Note app, which was (and continues to be) a pillar of the Mac operating system.
Why is this important? Because the Notes app is older than any other app on our list, and its longevity makes it clear that it will not go anywhere.
As an app for taking notes, Apple Notes has come a long way. Like most other clipboard apps, it includes common tools (penes, highlighters, etc.), and they are all arranged in a toolbar that can be moved to the screen for greater customization of the workspace.
But even though Apple Notes might seem a bit banal, it has some unique features that will surprise you.
You can open a Quick Note on your iPhone or iPad without even opening the Notes app. This allows you to quickly write down a thought, save content from the web or another app, and more.
Once done, the Quick Notes will appear in their own folder in the app so that they are easy to find later.
Apple Notes is also one of the few clipboard apps designed to create tables and interactive control lists.
But even if this app has many things in its favor, Apple Notes is not as complete as some of the other apps. The app lacks audio recording capabilities (but you can dictate your notes). Also treat PDFs and other imported files as attachments instead of integrating them into your notes, which means editing is limited to annotations and markups.
On the other hand, being part of the Apple ecosystem, you can trust that Apple Notes works on any iOS version and any iOS device, which you have an iPad Pro or iPad mini. You will also find native software for Apple Notes on macOS and watchOS, so you can get notes on your Mac and Apple Watch.
Overall, Apple Notes lacks the flexibility you will see with most of the other notes apps listed here, but it is still a terrific tool, especially for those who take notes occasionally.

More interesting features:
- Natively supports handwriting and typing on the same page using various inputs, including fingers, keyboard on screen, Apple Pencil and Apple Keyboard.
- Allows shading when drawing with Apple Pencil. Tilt your Apple Pencil to activate the shading. You can also press harder to create a more intense shading effect.
- It recognizes phone numbers, dates, handwritten addresses and other data. It will enable other options for the recognized text, such as event planning or calling phone numbers directly from the Notes app.
- iCloud native sync on all Apple devices.
Main limitations:
- Many customization features are missing, including the ability to create deeply nested organizational models or structures.
- No integrated synchronization for storage outside of iCloud. Even if you can do it with a bit of work if you want to back up notes on Dropbox, Google Drive or Box, it’s not as simple as pressing a switch.
- Limited annotation and PDF markup capabilities that force you to perform these tasks elsewhere, usually using the markup tool within the file or image itself.
Important details:
- Price: Free!
- Reviews: Currently, Apple Notes has an 3.3 star rating with over 4,300 reviews.
- Platform: Available for iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac.

♪

Unlike traditional clipboard apps, which offer a white page to write notes, LiquidText is more a study and research tool designed to help you analyze PDFs and other documents.
It works like this: when you open a file in LiquidText, the document is imported into a digital workspace. In the workspace, your document occupies half the screen, while the other space is dedicated to work.
While you read your document, you can highlight and write down the text as you would with any other app to take notes.
You can also cut text fragments and drag them to the opposite side of the screen. LiquidText will turn these extracts into small tabs that you can move into the workspace.
By collecting data from your document, you can consolidate it in groups, track lines and make connections between those details and much more.
Although this approach to taking notes is more research-based, it is definitely a game change for anyone who wants to analyze documents for details and key insights, since LiquidText offers a number of tools that you will not find in most other apps.

More interesting features:
- Infinite workspace allows you to organize in orderly extracts, comments and handwritten notes.
- Adding more documents to a single workspace allows users to create projects focused on a theme or idea and assists in consolidating associated research.
- Importing web pages like PDF is quick and easy thanks to the integrated web browser.
- Ability to compress and expand documents during research makes critical details much easier to analyze and compare.
Main limitations:
- Extracts and text can be easily lost within the working space. Since the working space is infinite, you can lose or forget the extracts if you do not remain organized.
- The workspace often seems cramped, regardless of how you choose to configure it.
- Not for everyone. If you're not doing major research projects, this app probably won't do for you.
Important details:
- Price: Free plan available; $49.99 for Pro (single purchase per platform); $7.99/month for LIVE; $14.99/month for LIVE Unlimited.
- Note: LIVE and LIVE Unlimited are both cloud-based subscriptions and the subscription covers LiquidText on all devices.
- Reviews: LiquidText currently has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars based on 5.300 reviews.
- Platform: Available for iPad, Mac and Windows 10.
- Link: Download the app / View the website.
MarginNote 3

The second of the two research tools in our list, MarginNote, is similar to LiquidText (presented above) regarding operation and operation.
MarginNote opens your document in a digital workspace where you can highlight and write PDF or select extracts from the text.
However, while LiquidText focuses on hand-drawn notes and document highlighting (all this is also possible in MarginNote), this software also allows you to cut out notes, create flashcards or concept maps and build study schemes.
A screen depicting the MarginNote 3 interface, with an article written on the right and a concept map of notes and extracts on the left. MarginNote provides clean and clear connection lines for your concept map, allows you to take hand notes and much more.
One of the main differences in MarginNote is that much of the generation of concept maps can be made clean and sharp, with straight lines and blocks that look sharp and organized.
MarginNote also allows you to compile a single set of notes from different sources or files, so if you have several books in a series or different documents where you should combine notes, MarginNote simplifies this process.
Although this app probably does not completely replace an app to take notes such as Notability or Goodnotes, it is a great study tool for students who need to examine a large number of documents and keep everything organized simultaneously.

More interesting features:
- All notes can be edited and annotated, so you can add context to the extracts while you put them aside.
- The flashcard review helps you quickly review your notes and study for exams.
- The Auto Add to MindMap tool allows you to organize extracts without having to drag and drop excessively.
Main limitations:
- The different display modes and configurations can be confusing. Although useful, it is easy to get lost while sailing and find yourself struggling to recover from where you were interrupted.
- Excess of functions makes the learning curve steep.
- The automatic mapping tool can be difficult to configure. The concept map is based on the summary, so some planning is required on how to structure your notes.
Important details:
- Price: Free version (only reader) available; $12.99 for full version.
- Updates: OCR Pro for $1 per month or $9.50 per year.
- Reviews: MarginNote 3 currently has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars with 4.300 reviews.
- Platform: Available for iPad, iPhone and Mac.
- Link: Download the app / View the website.
Nebo

Where apps like Goodnotes and Notability emphatize (and mainly stick to) the idea of handwritten notes, Nebo tries to combine the concept of handwriting and text within its notebooks.
As with other apps on the market, you can freely draw using the Note pages (previously Freeform), but the Document pages (previously Regular) are where they really start to shine.
All Document pages are striped sheets, and users have the option to write using an Apple Pencil or a keyboard. If you choose to write your content by hand, Nebo shows how it is interpreting your handwriting in real time.
You can also mix handwriting and text typed or simply convert your handwriting to text. This adds a layer of flexibility to Nebo that you will not really see in other apps.
With the free version, you will only have access to basic features, including a limited amount of notebooks you can create. However, you can get a dictionary, convert PDFs and share your content in various formats by purchasing the appropriate update package at a relatively low cost.
It is also important to note that Nebo is a multi-platform compatible, which makes it unique for users looking for one of the best iPad app that can exist outside the Apple ecosystem.

More interesting features:
- Combine handwriting and typed text is an interesting concept that is suggested in other apps, but Nebo really takes this feature in hand.
- Handwriting and math conversion is unequal, and both features are included at no extra cost.
- Having free pages and striped pages allows you to work in the way that suits you best.
- The ability to change the text typed using a stylus adds extra flexibility during editing, revision or reformatting of the text.
Main limitations:
- Lack of models, layouts and other custom formats you see in apps like Goodnotes, Notability or Noteshelf.
- Formatting can be a problem. While you can adjust the position of the text by dragging panes, play with the return tools to correctly place the text in the pane (or page) can be boring.
- Note pages look lower than competitors. If you’re focused exclusively on handwriting, this app is a bit back in its feature set.
Important details:
- Price: Free version available; $2.99 for Essentials Pack; $4.99 for Connect Pack; $3.99 for PDF Pack.
- Note: Packages are sold individually or can be purchased bundled for $8.99.
- Reviews: Nebo currently has a score of 4.6 out of 5 stars with over 17,000 reviews.
- Platform: Available on iPad, Mac, Windows and Android.

CollaNote

In many respects, CollaNote is still an ongoing job that has earned a huge follow-up in recent years. The app offers a robust clipboard experience with simple and intuitive tools that look appealing and use beautifully.
Inside the clipboard interface, you will find a wide range of pen types and brushes, as well as a few extras.
In CollaNote, pressure sensitivity is enabled by default, so your text will decrease and grow as you write based on how much you press your Apple Pencil on the screen. The converted text is framed within a text box and can be adjusted as desired.
Just like Apple Notes and Notability, CollaNote actively distinguishes between a pen and a pencil, both offering a completely different writing experience.
Interestingly, this app provides the widest and most varied selection of pens and brushes unique compared to other notes, including major competitors such as Goodnotes and Notability. From vector brushes to artistic and 3D brushes, you'll have all the tools you need to bring your notes to life.
This app also offers tools such as color filling to quickly add color and curve tool to help you create curved lines (optimum for charts and charts).
For text boxes, the app facilitates text adding and provides layering options that allow you to place the text on other objects.
And we have already said that you can collaborate with other users of CollaNote by creating an account? It's so simple.
Although CollaNote currently lacks some of the features that you see in the most mature app, it is on the right path to become a protagonist in the field of taking notes.

More interesting features:
- A robust notepad kit that provides you with everything you need to take great notes, including a pencil, a wide range of pens and brushes, a color filling tool, a curved line tool and more.
- Collaboration features facilitate work with other appointers to generate a group or shared note. An account is required and notes are stored in your account, not on CollaNote servers.
- Importing PDFs, images and other media is fast and easy. With the exception of PDFs, media files reside within a note and are not imported as autonomous objects.
Main limitations:
- Only limited to iPadOS and iOS. While this app backs up on iCloud, it currently does not offer compatibility with Mac, Windows or Android platforms.
- The user interface is a matter of tastes. Block windows and switches give the app a unique feeling, but it may not please everyone.
- Folders and notes lack customization and refinement features that you see in apps like Goodnotes.
- The rigid organizational structure limits how you can format and organize your content.
Important details:
- Price: Free version available; $11.90 unique purchase from the App Store for Premium.
- Reviews: CollaNote currently has a rating of 4.9 stars with over 9,500 reviews.
- Platform: Available only on iPad and iPhone.
- Link: Download the app / View the website.
Noteshelf

Noteshelf is a great compromise between Goodnotes and Notability. You will find all the tools you need to get great notes on your Apple, Android or Windows devices.
The interface offers a simplified user-friendly experience, with many customization options, from page models and notebook covers to different pen types and colors and sizes of your tools.
It even has a customizable toolbar that allows you to add or remove tools so that you show only those you like to use.
Noteshelf also offers one of the best interfaces for mapping. When you need to write smaller text or want to enlarge your existing notes, the Zoom Box makes it easy. It is highly customizable and loads the tool interface on the magnifying bar, so that you can quickly switch to what you need.
As Notability, Noteshelf presents the audio recording that you can connect to your notes. Although it does not synchronize with the text, being able to listen to a reproduction of a lesson or presentation can be extremely useful.
The large amount of organizational features, focus mode, Noteshelf AI and advanced customization make this app perfect for users who take huge amounts of notes.

More interesting features:
- Advanced customization options, such as a variety of page templates, notebook covers and tools, allow you to give free rein to creativity with your notes.
- The Zoom Box has the tool interface in the magnifying bar, so that the switch between the tools is fast and easy while working in this mode.
- The customizable toolbar lets you choose which tools you want to see on your toolbar and leave out the rest, so that it is exactly what you need.
- Multi-device compatibility allows you to use this app on all Mac devices (including Apple Watch), Windows and Android.
Main limitations:
- The free version limits the number of notes you can take. Get only three notebooks to use in the free version, which is probably not enough for serious appointers. Also, Noteshelf does not offer any free trial on Android or Windows, so you can't try it before you buy it.
- Moving notes is not a simple process, making reorganization of your notes a little complicated.
- It is not compatible between platforms. While there are Android, Windows and iOS versions of this app, the three do not communicate with each other. You can pass your notes between various Apple products (iPad, iPhone, Watch), but you can't send your notes from your iPad to your Android tablet or PC.
Important details:
- Price: Unique rate of $7.99.
- Reviews: Noteshelf 3 currently has 4.3 out of 5 stars on the App Store, but is relatively new (poor reviews available).
- Platform: Available for iPad, iPhone, Mac, Windows and Android.
- Link: Download the app / View the website.
Everno

If you’re a productivity fan, Evernote is the perfect clipboard app for you. Not only does it have a dedicated section to take notes, but it also incorporates several sections that will help you to be more productive, such as an Activity section for lists of things to do and more.
The main control panel is fully customizable (with an Evernote Premium plan), so you can arrange all your information so that it makes more sense for you.
When you take notes, you can choose from over fifty models. You will find a number of options for work, school and personal categories.
Evernote offers a rigid structure to take notes that makes it easy to put your thoughts on the page. Formatting is similar to Word or Google Docs, which does not offer much flexibility, but keeps your notes sorted and cleaned.
Unfortunately, this means you can't really mix handwriting and text. Like Apple Notes, it will keep these sections separate from each other. This is because it is not really thought for handwriting in general. You will have to enter sketch mode to draw or write, and once finished, Evernote converts your work into an image to add to your note.
The app also has many fantastic features that will help you to be more efficient, including an excellent web clipper (only desktop), audio recording features and PDF markup tools.
With multi-platform compatibility and the ability to sync in real time on all devices, Evernote can help you create the ultimate asset management and productivity system.

More interesting features:
- Dedicated activity section helps you keep track of your lists of things to do.
- Structured formatting is familiar thanks to its similarity to text processing programs and keeps your notes sorted and organized.
- A robust web clipper lets you capture information from your desktop for later use.
- Multi-platform compatibility and real-time synchronization allow you to work anywhere and at any time.
Main limitations:
- The sketch mode is the only place where you can write by hand, which can be annoying if you don’t like typing your notes.
- The ability to connect to the calendar and add reminders to your business lists is blocked behind a subscription.
- Having to sync only two devices in the free plan means you will have to choose which platforms you prefer if you do not want to pay a subscription.
Important details:
- Prices: Free limited plan; $14.99/month or $129.99/year for the Personal Plan; Professional Plans available.
- Reviews: Evernote currently has 4.4 out of 5 stars on the App Store with over 46,900 reviews.
- Platform: Available for iPad, iPhone, Mac, PC and Android.
- Link: Download the app / View the website.
Microsoft OneNote

Extremely popular and completely free, OneNote is the reference app for tens of thousands of users interested in taking notes effectively.
As Evernote, this app is more oriented towards typing, but its handwriting component works beautifully and does not force you to change mode or switch to a different section to write. Just click the Draw tab at the top of the screen to access writing tools.
OneNote has only one type of pen, but you can change its size and color according to your needs.
And that's what makes OneNote truly unique.
The Ink Color Selector of this app is unique in its kind, offering both solid and special options, such as galaxy colors, marble and glitter.
OneNote also includes features such as a Mathematics Assistant and audio recording, which are great for students, and a web clipper to capture content from the Internet and video recording, which is completely unique for this app (only Desktop or Windows app).
Its embedded organization tools make it a great option for storage, especially for users already integrated with other Microsoft products such as OneDrive, Word, Excel, etc.

More interesting features:
- The Ink Color Selector, unlike any other app, allows you to be really creative by choosing from options such as galaxy colors, marble and glitter.
- Mathematics Assistant can solve equations for you, making it great for students or anyone working with many mathematical equations.
- Free version with full access to all its features. Subscriptions are only necessary for storage purposes.
Main limitations:
- It opens automatically to the last screen used, which can be annoying if you want to start a new note or find a different note.
- Backup only on your servers. You cannot create a backup on other cloud services.
- Only 5 GB of storage included in the free plan, which may not be enough if you expect to take many notes.
Important details:
- Prices: Free! (Note: You can get 100 GB storage for $1.99/month or purchase Microsoft 365 Personal with 1 TB storage and all integrations for $6.99/month. )
- Reviews: Currently OneNote has 4.7 out of 5 stars with over 759,000 reviews.
- Platform: Available for iPad, iPhone, Mac, PC and Android.
- Link: Download the app / View the website.
Zoho Notebook

Similar to both Evernote and OneNote, Zoho Notebook is available on a variety of platforms and seamlessly synchronizes between your devices using your own cloud service. It has been awarded the Best App of the Year in the App Store in 2016 and has risen in popularity since then.
But as a clipboard app, it takes a different approach than most other apps available in this field. It has an aesthetically pleasing user interface and covers available for your notebooks are artworks.
The individual notes inside the notebooks are called Cards and look like small (colored) stickers. You can change the background color on each note, making it easier to visually differentiate between the topics.
On top of that, Zoho Notebook offers different types of Cards (Checklist, Audio, Sketch and more) to meet your needs of taking notes.
Most of these are quite self-explanatory, but the Smart Card is a really interesting feature worthy of note. When you want to save content from the Internet or another app, Smart Cards automatically take that information and format it in an attractive design card.
Unfortunately, this app is also oriented towards the text typed, and you can really just write by hand or draw when you open a Sketch Card. Not even the Text Card is super customizable: you can't even change the character or size of the text.
But you can protect your notes with passwords, share and collaborate with others in real time, which are excellent features in any clipboard app.

More interesting features:
- Beautiful user interface and artwork make this app one of the most aesthetically pleasing.
- Post-it appearance and colors allow users to easily differentiate between individual notes.
- Smart Cards automatically format saved content, keeping these beautiful and tidy notes.
Main limitations:
- The lack of search functionality in the free version can make it difficult to find your notes, especially if you have many.
- Limited card sizes and storage space in the free version mean that if you plan to take many notes, you will need to upgrade.
- Limited handwriting tools and customization of the typed text make it harder to be creative with your notes.
Important details:
- Prices: Free limited version; $1.99/month, $19.99/year or $49.99/3 years for full version.
- Reviews: Zoho Notebook currently has 4.7 out of 5 stars with over 21,000 reviews.
- Platform: Available on iPad, iPhone, Mac, Windows, Android and Linux.
- Link: Download the app / View the website.
Penbook

If you are looking for a clipboard app that allows you to be really creative and customize your notes, Penbook might be the answer.
Like Zoho Notebook, this app offers a variety of beautiful notebook covers, but does not stop here. With Penbook, you can choose from over 1,000 customization options!
There are page templates for each category, even super niche options for chemists, developers and musicians. Once you choose a model, you can change the character, background and accent colors and decide how many sheets add to your notebook (don't worry, you can always add more later!).
The best part?
You can mix and match patterns throughout your notebook, and each page could be something completely different.
If you are too overwhelmed by all options, you can choose from a variety of prepackaged “Editions” that Penbook has already prepared for you.
While the tools are quite basic (Penna, Matita, Evidencer), you can change the thickness and color of the line on each, and you can even customize or use hexadecimal codes to get the perfect shade. Once you get what you need, you can add up to six custom tools to your toolbar for easy access in the future.
Unfortunately, navigation in the app is not as intuitive as we would like, and there is a certain learning curve when you start. Although the app offers a user manual, it is quite long and complex, and there are no video tutorials or quick guides to help you get started.

More interesting features:
- Highly customizable, with thousands of different ways to set and customize your notes.
- The pre-packaged “Editions” help you skip the process of creating your notebook so you can start taking notes immediately.
- Live Paper automatically fills the date and time when you create new pages, useful for times, diaries and more.
Main limitations:
- The free version is practically just a free trial, since you only get a single notebook.
- Navigation is not intuitive, so it takes time to learn how to use the app.
- The lack of organizational functionality makes it harder to find and track your notes.
Important details:
- Prices: Free version available; $14,99/year or $49.99/life for full version.
- Reviews: Penbook currently has 4.6 out of 5 stars with over 16,500 ratings.
- Platform: Available for iPhone and iPad.
- Link: Download the app / View the website.
ZoomNotes

ZoomNotes provides an infinite board, making it an excellent choice for those who take notes visually.
As you might expect from the name, ZoomNotes offers the most impressive zoom range. It is practically endless, making it easy to squirt your thoughts and ideas without worrying about finishing the space.
When you zoom in to take a closer look or make changes or additions to your notes, the full view remains on the right screen, allowing you to see the bigger picture while you work.
An image of ZoomNotes shows the different types of sub-documents available, such as a post-it.
ZoomNotes allows you to create a page within a page like a post-it, a PDF document and more.
Another feature that distinguishes this app is the ability to create a page within a page. These sub-pages can be separate notes, such as a mental map of your complete notes, a post-it with key concepts or reminders, or even an entire PDF document that is related to your notes.
ZoomNotes goes further by adding the connected audio recording, unlimited paper size/styles, bookmarks and more. It is easy to fully customize your notes, especially with eight different types of pen and unlimited color options.
It syncs with iCloud and also integrates with your Apple Calendar and Apple Reminder, so you can easily manage your control lists and your program. Import, export and share features complete this app, making it competitive with apps like Notability and Goodnotes.

More interesting features:
- The infinite board provides endless space to write, draw or sketch your notes and ideas.
- The incredible range of zoom makes it extremely easy to take visual notes such as concept maps or sketchnoting.
- Subpages allow you to create a page within a page. You can add PDF, post-it and more.
- It integrates with other apps like Apple Reminder and Apple Calendar.
Main limitations:
- The user interface is a bit embossed and not as intuitive as most other apps.
- The limited tools in the free version make it difficult to customize your notes as you would like.
- Too many tools make it difficult to learn and make it overwhelming.
Important details:
- Prices: ZoomNotes Lite is free; $10.99 unique purchase for the full version on the App Store.
- Reviews: ZoomNotes currently has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars on the App Store.
- Platform: Available for iPad, iPhone and Mac.
