# Donations

Alemasone is free and will stay that way. There is no subscription, no members-only articles and no sign-up needed to read.

Behind it, though, are the usual dull expenses: domain, hosting, licences for the software I test, and above all time — I write, check and update everything myself, in six languages.

If a guide solved a problem for you and you feel like chipping in, even a few euros help keep the site online and being updated.

[Donate with PayPal](https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=VFHCVPD6AVFG6)

It is not expected and it changes nothing about what you read: no content is reserved for donors. Thanks to those who do, and thanks to those who just read.
